Journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed the latest details of Real Madrid's contract with Yan Diomande, the first-team football player at German club RB Leipzig, during the current summer transfer window.
Diomande is considered one of the most prominent targets that major European clubs such as Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain wish to sign during the current summer transfer period.
Real Madrid submitted an official offer to sign the player for 100 million euros, which was rejected, but they submitted a second offer for 120 million euros.
Plettenberg said that no agreement has been reached between Leipzig, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain regarding the signing of Yan Diomande so far.
He reported that new negotiations began this morning, Sunday, and new offers to sign the Ivorian player were discussed.

He noted that Paris Saint-Germain remains a strong competitor to sign Diomande and has not given up yet.
Leipzig has also not ruled out Liverpool or Manchester City from the race to sign the player, although Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are currently the most serious options.
He stressed that despite rumors of the player nearing a move to Real Madrid in recent hours, there are currently no direct talks between the two clubs.
He confirmed that Leipzig is not expected to decide the fate of the deal today; Diomande is currently on holiday and has not spoken with the club, and he is scheduled to return early next week.
