A source revealed the latest developments in the crisis involving Brazilian player Juan Bezerra and Zamalek Club, as the player refuses to return to participate with the team in the new season.
Zamalek played its first match of the season in the Premier League against Al Ittihad Alexandria, ending in a goalless draw, while the team prepares to face National Bank of Egypt in the second round.
A source confirmed in exclusive statements to Yalla Kora that Bezerra insists on not coming to Egypt or joining Zamalek Club, noting that there are communications between the club's management and the player's representatives to hold a "Zoom" meeting in the coming days to decide the player's fate.
The source added: "Zamalek has informed Bezerra's lawyer and agent that it will take all legal actions against the player. Zamalek will take escalating steps at the appropriate time, as certain procedures must be proven before taking such decisive measures."
