The Egyptian team finished third in their group after two losses against England and Colombia, both by a score of 2-1.
They secured a victory against South Korea via penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw in regular time.
Teams winning on penalties earn two points, while the losing side receives only one point.
The teams in the International Friendship Tournament were divided into two groups, each consisting of four teams.
The top team from Group 1 faces the top team from Group 2 in the final match, and similarly for the remaining positions.
Egypt, finishing third in Group 1, will play against the third-place team from Group 2 to determine fifth place in the tournament.
Canada took third place with two points.
Egypt's U-17 team (born in 2009) will face Canada at 4:00 PM next Saturday, October 3rd.
The match will be broadcast on beIN Sports channels.
Led by coach Hossam Hassan, Egypt's U-17 team is preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar in November.
