Moataz Gamal, the head coach of Zamalek's first football team, held a meeting with his assistant staff before the team's training session today, Saturday, at the auxiliary stadium of the Air Defense Stadium.
Zamalek is preparing to face Petrojet Suez on Monday evening at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The meeting included discussions on the team's preparation program for the upcoming match and finalizing preparations, given the importance of the game in Zamalek's journey to compete for the Egyptian Premier League title and retain the trophy.
Moataz Gamal also held a session with the players before today's Saturday training session at the auxiliary stadium of the Air Defense Stadium, attended by Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the team manager, and members of the assistant coaching staff.
The head coach urged the players to focus and give their maximum effort to continue their winning streak in upcoming matches, following their 3-0 victory over Al-Ahly Bank in the previous round.
The White Knights aim to secure victory, earn the match points, and continue their strong campaign in the tournament, as the technical staff seeks to compete for the title this season.
Zamalek succeeded in defeating Al-Ahly Bank with a clean 3-0 scoreline in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League for the current 2026-2027 season.
Zamalek had begun their league campaign with a goalless draw against Alexandria United.
