A source revealed details regarding the exclusion of Ahmed Fathouh, a Zamalek SC player, from the match his team will play against Suez Petrojet in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The source confirmed in exclusive statements to Yalla Kora that the player suffered a severe health setback over the past hours before receiving an intensive treatment protocol in hopes of recovering and joining the match.

He added: "The player underwent a medical test at the team hotel which proved his inability to participate in this match."

The source concluded his statements by confirming that Moataz Gamal decided to include Ahmed El-Khodary in Zamalek's squad against Suez Petrojet as a replacement for Ahmed Fathouh.

The match between the two teams is scheduled for today, Monday, at 8:00 PM Cairo time.
