Details of Al Ahly's offer to renew Imam Ashour's contract

Al-Ahly Club has taken official steps towards the player Imam Ashour in the past hours, by renewing his contract, which ends in the summer of 2028.

Those steps come in light of the levels the player presented with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, in addition to considering him one of the main pillars of the team.

Imam Ashour (28 years old) attracted attention due to his level in the 2026 World Cup, where he was able to score two goals, one against Belgium and another against Australia.

The Egyptian international had moved to Al-Ahly in the summer of 2023, coming from Danish Midtjylland, in a deal estimated at about 2.5 million euros, according to the "Transfermarkt" website.

Details of Al-Ahly's offer to renew Imam Ashour's contract

A source at Al-Ahly Club revealed, in exclusive statements via "Yalla Koura", that the football management at Al-Ahly Club presented an offer to renew Imam Ashour's contract until the summer of 2030.

The source added that the offer was presented to the player, where he will receive a first-class salary of 30 million pounds (which is the maximum), according to the new salary system, in addition to some incentives.

The source - who preferred not to mention his name - continued that the player will receive 30% of the value of each advertisement he participates in during the upcoming period.

The past period witnessed Imam Ashour being linked with leaving Al-Ahly's ranks, amid interest from Turkish Konyaspor and Saudi Al-Ittihad.

According to the global "Transfermarkt" website, Imam Ashour participated in 105 matches in various competitions, locally and continentally, where he scored 32 goals and made 25 goals.

The football management at Al-Ahly Club is working on renewing the contracts of many players, led by Mustafa Shobier, Imam Ashour, and Yasser Ibrahim.
