A source at Al-Ahly Club revealed details of the altercation that occurred after the match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the Women's Football League, which ended with a decisive victory for the Red Team.
Al-Ahly's women's first football team achieved a crushing 6-0 victory over Zamalek in their match within the second round of the Egyptian League for the current 2026-2027 season.
The source stated in exclusive remarks to "Yalla Kora" that following the match, Al-Ahly players and technical staff headed to the locker room accompanied by Shady Mohamed, head of the women's football department, and two members of the club's media center, amidst celebratory atmospheres inside the locker room after defeating Zamalek.
He clarified that matters escalated when Al-Ahly personnel exited the locker room, after a Zamalek club administrator got into an altercation with an Al-Ahly club photographer, demanding he delete the photos he had taken, saying to him: "What are you photographing? Delete what you've photographed."
The source indicated that the Al-Ahly photographer rejected the Zamalek administrator's manner of dealing with him, leading to an escalation into an altercation between both parties.
He added that Shady Mohamed quickly escorted the Al-Ahly players and technical staff to the team bus, before returning once again to the locker room to help contain the situation and defuse the clash.
The source confirmed that officials from both clubs intervened quickly to contain the crisis and end the altercation, clarifying that Hazem Imam and El-Mirghani from Zamalek played a role in calming the situation, before the incident concluded without further developments.
