Brazilian club Corinthians announced the contract renewal of Moroccan player Zakaria Labyad until December 2027.
The Moroccan international joined the Brazilian team at the beginning of 2026, playing 18 matches and scoring two goals for the club.
Labyad suffered a severe injury last July, involving a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament and a meniscus injury in his left knee.
Playing alongside Labyad in the Brazilian team are Gabriel Paulista, former Arsenal player; André Carrillo, former Al-Hilal Saudi player; Jesse Lingard, former Manchester United English player; and Memphis Depay, the all-time top scorer of the Netherlands national team.
