The match between Al-Mansoura and Farco sparked widespread controversy during the encounter held on Friday as part of the second round of the Professional League for the current 2026–2027 season at "Al-Max" Stadium.

Crisis of the Al-Mansoura vs. Farco Match

The scoreline indicated Farco's lead by one goal without reply, before Al-Mansoura shot the ball toward Farco's goal amid doubts about whether it had completely crossed the goal line.

Abdelaziz El-Sayed, the match referee, decided to continue play without awarding the goal, despite strong objections from Al-Mansoura players who demanded the goal be counted.

The ball quickly returned toward Al-Mansoura's goal, enabling Farco to score their second goal and take a 2–0 lead.

Al-Mansoura players strongly protested the referee's decision before the team walked off the pitch in objection to the goal not being awarded.
