Mounsef Bekkar, the player who recently joined the ranks of Al Ahly Club, expressed his great happiness at representing the Reds in the coming period, indicating that he did not hesitate for a single moment in agreeing to the offer.
The official page of Al Ahly Club published a video clip showing Mounsef Bekkar sitting on one of the seats, with the team’s jersey placed on one of the tables in front of him.
Mounsef Bekkar said in statements via the video clip: “Peace be upon you, the great Al Ahly fans. I am very proud to join the ranks of Al Ahly, as it is the most decorated with titles, the Club of the Century in Africa, and is always present in the FIFA Club World Cup.”
The Algerian striker added: “I did not hesitate for a moment to wear the Al Ahly jersey, and I have great confidence in the club, its officials, and its fans, and God willing, we will achieve many titles together.”
Mounsef Bekkar concluded his message by saying: “Al Ahly means history... the past, the present, and the future, and my goal is to make glory with this great team, and always be on the podiums, God willing.”
Al Ahly Club had announced a few days ago its official signing with Mounsef Bekkar, coming from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, on a contract that extends for the next 3 seasons.
Essam Serageldin, head of the contracting sector at Al Ahly Club, headed to Croatia, where he succeeded in completing all the financial and administrative procedures related to the deal, in coordination with Wael Gomaa, the football director.
