Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi spoke about the signing of Egyptian star Omar Marmoush on loan from Manchester City during the current summer transfer window.
Tottenham is preparing to face Newcastle United tomorrow at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The team is currently in 18th place after a 3-0 defeat to Watford in the first round.
Speaking about Marmoush in remarks published by the British outlet "Football London," De Zerbi said: "It is an excellent deal for us, another exceptional player. We all love him as a player."
He added: "We hope Marmoush delivers what he is capable of. He can give us more attacking solutions; we need more players who can score goals in the forward line."

De Zerbi continued: "Marmoush is extremely fast and does his job with precision. He is also a very intelligent player, thinking with a manager's mindset, and he can play in different positions on the pitch."
When asked if Tottenham would sign another blockbuster in the transfer market, De Zerbi said: "I think Savinho and Marmoush are blockbusters. I don't know what name you would like to give them, but they are certainly players of that stature and level."
De Zerbi concluded on the transfer market: "I did not expect the transfer window to be the way we have seen it. I believe we can sign one additional player in a specific position."
