Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham's manager, spoke after the draw against Nottingham in the Premier League, highlighting Omar Marmoush's goal-scoring opportunity during the match between the two teams on Saturday evening.
Tottenham drew 0-0 with Nottingham; the match featured a clear goal-scoring chance for Omar Marmoush, but the Egyptian failed to score for his new team, and the encounter ended in a goalless draw.
De Zerbi told Sky Sports: "I feel disappointed with the result, but I am very happy with the performance, considering we only started working together last Thursday for the first time. I believe we can improve in our final decisions and in delivering key passes."
He added: "I remember Omar Marmoush's situation when he shot the ball while Andy Robertson was advancing behind him. If we improve our performance in the final attacking third, I believe we are capable of scoring many goals because we have players with great potential."
He continued: "It is difficult now to accept this result because I believe we played well. We must work hard, as we performed excellently in possession and found solutions. I think we can deliver a much better performance in the final attacking third."
Regarding the second half, he added: "In the second half, I regret that the medical staff pushed to substitute Savio and Destiny Udogie after the 60th minute. Mohamed Kudus and Andy Robertson performed very well, but perhaps making two substitutions at that moment was not appropriate."
He explained: "However, we cannot now risk injuring Savio again; he is a very important player for us, as is Destiny. Perhaps we lost some balance and harmony. We must respect Nottingham Forest because they always relied on counterattacks and long balls."

Regarding injuries in the squad, he commented: "We must improve in all aspects of football, both in possession and without it. Until today, I believe we defended excellently. We have signed very distinguished players, but you cannot build a team merely with big names like in Football Manager."
When asked about Nottingham Forest's disallowed goal, the Italian coach replied: "I did not see the replay, so I cannot answer your question."
Speaking to the BBC, he stated: "I am very proud of the performance. It pleases me to see my players fighting with such spirit. I am very happy with the players' spirit, commitment, and behavior—those who played 90 minutes, 70 minutes, 20 minutes, and 10 minutes. This is our way. The team's morale is high, and now we must work and improve in all technical aspects."
He emphasized: "We are determined to win, but I believe we must remain calm to maintain our self-confidence. I think we have players of a high enough level to score many goals, such as Solanke, Savio, and Marmoush."
As for whether he has everything needed to achieve success, he concluded: "I am very happy with the transfer market. I believe the club, the sporting director, and the CEO have worked hard and diligently with an ambitious vision and clear ideas. Now we must work hard because in football you cannot ask for time, but without time, you cannot do anything."
