Daniele De Rossi, Genoa coach, supported the view of Gian Piero Gasperini, the technical director of Roma, that opening the transfer window even after the start of the season is "a shameful thing".
Gasperini, Roma coach, complained after the friendly defeat his team suffered against Brighton with a 3-0 score, that the incompleteness of any club's squad at the start of the season is considered a "problem" for all clubs.
He prefers that matches only start when coaches and players have a complete picture of the situation they will face in the coming few months.
De Rossi complained, saying in statements published via Football Italia: "Setting a deadline for transfers after the second match of the Italian league is foolish; it is shameful bureaucracy in every sense of the word".
He continued: "How is it possible that coaches denounce this situation every year, yet no one does anything? I am not talking about Italy alone; it is devastating for everyone in the world of sport".
He concluded: "It is a ridiculous and wrong situation, and it continues endlessly".
