Spanish player Marc Cucurella, Real Madrid's new signing, directed an emotional farewell message to the fans of his former club Chelsea after ending his four-season journey with the London team.

Cucurella began his message on his personal account by saying: "Hello Blues, after four seasons we spent together, it's time for me to say goodbye".
He added: "I had some moments to think and reflect on everything we experienced together. I arrived here as a young man carrying the dream of winning many titles and playing in the UEFA Champions League".
The Spanish international admitted that his start with Chelsea was not easy, but he confirmed that hard work changed the course of his experience, saying: "Our start was difficult, that's true, but through hard work and effort we were able to turn things in our favor. Thanks to this club and its high ambitions, I can today say with all honesty that London will always remain my home, and you will always remain part of my story".
Cucurella spoke about his most prominent memories with the Blues, saying: "I will never forget hearing my song in the stadium, the magical nights at Stamford Bridge, the titles I won while wearing this badge, and all the love you showed me".
He affirmed that his experience at Chelsea contributed to his development on both personal and professional levels, adding: "I leave the club now having become a mature man. I have achieved many of my dreams thanks to you, and I would like to thank you all for that".
He also directed a message of thanks to the coaches, technical staff, teammates, and club employees, saying: "To the coaches and technical staff, thank you for all the advice you gave me. To my teammates, thank you for everything we experienced together and I will never forget it. And to everyone working at Cobham, thank you for making me feel at home from day one".
Cucurella concluded his message with wishes for the London club to achieve more success, saying: "I wish from the bottom of my heart to see Chelsea always at the top, where it belongs and where it deserves to be".
He ended his message with a phrase that carried great loyalty to the team's fans: "Once a Blue, always a Blue".
