Dynamo Zagreb club reached an agreement with Al-Ahly club regarding postponing the transfer of Mounsef Bekkar.

The Croatian site Jutarnji revealed that Dynamo Zagreb reached an agreement allowing the player to remain with the team until playing the two matches of the second preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League against Swiss Thun.
The report clarified that the deal amounted to 3 million euros as a base value, with the possibility of rising to 4 million euros through incentives.
This comes alongside the Croatian club receiving 10% of any future resale value.
Dynamo Zagreb is working to bolster its squad during the current period, as it seeks to continue competing domestically and in Europe.
Dynamo Zagreb will play against Swiss team Thun home and away on July 21 and 28.
The Croatian site Direktno had earlier revealed that negotiations between the two clubs had seen significant progress in recent days.
The report indicated that this came after Al-Ahly submitted two official offers that were rejected, before talks continued and the two sides neared a final agreement.
It is expected that Dynamo Zagreb will receive around 3 million euros as a fixed fee for the deal, in addition to performance-related incentives and a percentage of any future resale.
Bekkar had joined Dynamo Zagreb in the summer of last year from New York City, signing a contract that runs until 2028.
The Algerian striker participated in 42 matches during the past season, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists.
According to what FilGoal.com learned, Al-Ahly raised its offer to sign Mounsef Bekkar from Dynamo Zagreb to 2 million and 800 thousand dollars.
Al-Ahly is seeking to strengthen its attack in preparation for the season under the leadership of Moroccan Hussein Ammouta, having signed Oktay Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud from Enppi.
Mounsef Bekkar began his career with WA Tlemcen before moving to Croatian club Istra in the summer of 2022.
Bekkar then moved to American side New York City in the summer of 2023, before returning to the Croatian league via Dynamo Zagreb last summer.
The 25-year-old played 42 matches with Dynamo Zagreb, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists in all competitions.
Internationally, he represented the Algeria national team in 7 matches and scored two goals.
