Yalla Koura correspondent monitored the arrival of thousands of fans since the early morning toward Alamein Airport, awaiting the arrival of the Pharaohs' delegation.
Alamein Airport also witnessed the arrival of an open-top bus in preparation for celebrating the achievements of the Egyptian national team stars.
The Egyptian national team delegation departed the city of Atlanta in the American state of Georgia at eleven o'clock last Thursday evening, Cairo time.
The plane crew was keen to set up an honor corridor for the players as they boarded their seats on the plane, amid applause for all the players who were keen to exchange greetings with the crew members.
The trip is scheduled to take more than 12 hours of travel, with the delegation arriving in Alamein at eleven o'clock this Thursday morning.
The Egyptian authorities had previously decided to organize a popular and official reception to welcome the Egyptian national team delegation at Alamein Airport, and a honoring ceremony for the players and technical staff is also scheduled to be held by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
