Fran Garcia is close to leaving Real Madrid and joining Real Betis during the current summer transfer window.

According to the Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, the left-back has arrived in the city of Seville in preparation for undergoing a medical examination, before signing a contract that extends for four seasons with Real Betis, with the deal to be officially announced in the coming hours.
Real Madrid will receive 4 million euros in exchange for selling the player, while retaining 50% of his economic rights, which gives it an advantage to benefit from any future transfer.
It is expected that Fran Garcia will join Real Betis' preparatory camp for the new season directly, as soon as he passes the medical examination.
Real Betis managed to qualify for the Champions League next season, so the Andalusian team is working on developing the team's system in order to be able to compete in the continental championship along with the Spanish league.
The 26-year-old had played 109 matches in the first team shirt of Real Madrid in various competitions, during which he scored 3 goals and provided 12 decisive passes, during his second stint with the Royal Club which lasted three consecutive seasons.
The player achieved with Real Madrid the Spanish League once, the Champions League once, and the Club World Cup on one occasion along with the European Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.
