The "Cooper" physical fitness tests for international referees, Premier League and professional referees, and assistant referees concluded today, Thursday.
The physical fitness tests for the referees were held at Al-Nasr Club fields, in the presence of Essam Abdel Fattah, head of the referees committee, in his first official appearance since assuming the presidency of the committee.

The tests witnessed the attendance of 44 field referees, of whom 36 referees succeeded, while 8 referees did not pass the test, and 72 assistant referees attended, of whom 52 assistants succeeded, while 20 assistants did not pass the test.
The tests were conducted according to the standards approved by the International Football Association "FIFA", within the program set by the Egyptian Football Association and the main referees committee to prepare the referees, before the start of the new football season 2026-2027 competitions, as part of the plan to raise the physical and technical efficiency of the arbitration elements.
It is worth noting that the Clubs Association had previously announced that the draw for the Egyptian Premier League championship for the new season will be held next Wednesday at the National Teams Center in 6th of October City.
