Egyptian professional Haitham Hassan started the match before being substituted in the 73rd minute, having delivered a strong performance throughout his time on the pitch.
Chris Sutton wrote on his personal X account: "Celtic deserved the win. Haitham Hassan was absolutely outstanding in one-on-one situations, and Duran worked incredibly hard, providing another assist."
He added: "Celtic will badly miss Yang. The substitutes failed to make the desired impact, and Celtic lack the dominant midfield enforcer the team needs."
