Italian Federico Chiesa, the first-team footballer at Liverpool Football Club, spoke about his future and the truth regarding his departure from the Reds.
"Giudice Park" stadium hosted the match between Liverpool and Sunderland, which comes as part of the friendly preparations for the new season, where the Reds secured a 4-2 victory.
The Liverpool and Sunderland match was the first for Spanish coach Andoni Iraola with the team, after he took charge at the end of last season succeeding Arne Slot.
Chiesa said in statements to "The Athletic": "My future? I am happy here at Liverpool now".
He added: "I love the club, I love the fans, I love everything here, I am doing my best to get an opportunity here and then we will see, at the moment all I am thinking about is Liverpool".

He continued: "The start of the year is always new, there may have been many new beginnings but that does not concern me, I try to do my best with this new coach".
He went on: "Last year I also felt that I was ready to play a bigger role but at the time it depended on the coach's desire to involve me or not".
He continued: "The coach had his own plans and made his decisions and I have nothing to say about that, let's say this year is a new chapter, there is a new coach".
He added: "The only conversations I had with the coach were about pressing and tactics, he played me today in the striker position, I have played as a winger throughout my career but I am also happy to play as a striker".
He confirmed: "We have been training for two weeks now with a new coach and we have seen what he wants, he wants high intensity and one-on-one duels all over the pitch and that is what we wanted to show today".
He stressed: "Liverpool deserves more than that, two seasons ago we won the Premier League title, last season we were going to miss out on Champions League qualification spots, we were competing for fifth place, we were lucky".
He concluded: "It was a difficult season, and this season we need to perform better in the Champions League as well, I think we have the team capable of achieving that".
