Camara is considered the preferred alternative for Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister at Liverpool, and the Monaco midfielder had been linked with a move in the final hours of the transfer window.
Monaco rejected a £47 million offer from Chelsea for Camara; nevertheless, there are no guarantees regarding Liverpool's move to sign him in 2027.
It is worth noting that Portuguese midfielder Matheus Fernandes was among Liverpool's targets before joining Tottenham from West Ham United for £85 million.
