Chelsea have rejected an offer from Leeds United to sign Ukrainian player Mykhailo Mudryk during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Club: Chelsea

Mudryk has not participated in any official match since November 10, 2024, after a sample taken from the player tested positive for a prohibited substance, resulting in his suspension ever since.

The BBC revealed that Chelsea rejected Leeds' offer following two weeks of negotiations, during which the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.

Mudryk joined Chelsea in January 2023 for £85 million.

The report mentioned that English club Coventry City and Italian clubs Napoli, Atalanta, and Roma have expressed interest in signing the player.

Chelsea previously rejected an offer from Brentford due to the club's attempts to include a purchase option clause in the contract.

According to the BBC, Chelsea wish to ensure playing time for the Ukrainian forward following his return from a 20-month suspension.

He returned to the pitch at the end of July and participated in Chelsea's pre-season tour in Asia.
