Abdul Nasser Mohamed, coach of Al-Qanat team, spoke about preparations for the new season "2026-2027", revealing the signing of 16 new deals.
Al-Qanat is among the promoted teams to the Egyptian Premier League in the new season.
Al-Qanat coach said in statements via On Sport channel: "Al-Qanat preparations began in mid-June, and we played several friendly matches to prepare all players for the league kickoff".
He added: "We kept 15 players in the team after promotion to the Premier League, and they deserve it, and I thank the players who left our ranks".
He continued: "We signed 16 new deals to bolster the team in the Premier League, such as Mohamed Helal, Ali Al-Fil, and Mohamed Sadek, and there are 3 African players".
He concluded: "What we need now is harmony among all players before the season starts".
Al-Qanat begins its Premier League journey with a match against Ceramica Cleopatra on August 23.
