Ceramica Cleopatra Club announced the appointment of Saad Samir as director of football for the first team, in preparation for the new season.
Saad Samir had officially announced his retirement from football yesterday, Wednesday, to begin a new mission with the club in the position of director of football.
The club explained, in an official statement, that the appointment of Saad Samir comes within a strategy aimed at strengthening the administrative work system and benefiting from national competencies that possess the experience and ability to develop the team.
Ceramica Cleopatra pointed out that Saad Samir is considered one of the most prominent defenders in Egyptian football, after achieving many local, continental, and international championships and achievements, and was known for professionalism, discipline, and leadership personality throughout his career.
The statement added that Saad Samir's retirement was not the end of his path in football, but the beginning of a new phase, as he was keen to develop himself by obtaining specialized courses and studies in sports management, in preparation for administrative work.
The club confirmed that his selection as director of football came in light of confidence in his abilities and accumulated experiences, in addition to his leadership personality, which contributes to achieving the team's goals during the upcoming phase.
Ceramica Cleopatra concluded its statement with wishes for Saad Samir for success in his new mission, and that he continues to achieve successes in his administrative career after his distinguished path inside the green rectangle.
