The African Football Confederation "CAF" announced that the Continental Super Cup between the champions of the Champions League and the Confederation will be held in South Africa next November.
South African Sundowns, the Champions League title holder, will meet Algerian Union of the Capital, the Confederation champion, in the next edition of the Continental Super Cup.
"CAF" said in a statement on its website that South Africa will host the 2027 African Super Cup between Sundowns and Union of the Capital on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
It is worth noting that Sundowns had previously won the African Super Cup once (2017), and Union of the Capital also won the title in 2023.
