The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association announced on Sunday the officiating crew for the match between Zamalek and Suez Petrojet, scheduled as part of the Egyptian Premier League competitions.

The White Knights' match against Suez Petrojet will take place tomorrow, Monday, at 8:00 PM Cairo time at Cairo International Stadium, within the fixtures of Matchday 3 of the 2026/2027 Egyptian Premier League season.

Zamalek Club secured its first victory in the new Egyptian Premier League season after defeating National Bank of Egypt in the previous round by a score of 3-0.

Meanwhile, coach Motamed Gamal's side began their Premier League campaign with a goalless draw against Al Ittihad Alexandria in a match held at Cairo International Stadium.

On the other hand, Suez Petrojet has earned only one point during their first two matches in the Egyptian Premier League, following a draw with Assiut Petroleum and then a loss to Tala'ea El Gaish.

The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association assigned referee Tarek Magdy to officiate the Zamalek vs. Suez Petrojet match, assisted by Islam Abu El Atta and Ody Eid.

How Does Zamalek Fare Under Referee Tarek Magdy's Whistle?

Zamalek Club boasts a positive record and notable superiority under the officiating of referee Tarek Magdy, having managed 14 matches for the White Castle across various local competitions.

The White Knights achieved victory in 11 encounters, while two matches ended in draws, and the Knights tasted defeat only once under Magdy's whistle.

Regarding disciplinary records, Tarek Magdy issued 27 yellow cards to Zamalek players, along with one direct red card dismissal, without recording any dismissals resulting from two cautions.

Furthermore, the international referee granted Zamalek happiness with his whistle by awarding 6 penalty kicks in favor of the team in those matches.

Conversely, Zamalek's opponents under Tarek Magdy's management received 21 yellow cards, plus one dismissal after accumulating two cautions.

Tarek Magdy did not issue any direct red cards against Zamalek's rivals and ruled to award 4 penalty kicks against the White Knights.
