Algerian Monsef Bekkar, the new Al Ahly player, revealed his goals with the club after joining.

Bekkar joined coming from Croatian side Dynamo Zagreb on a contract extending for 3 seasons. (See details)
The new Al Ahly player said via the Al Ahly website: "Happy to join Al Ahly, the most titled club, the club of the century in Africa which is permanently present in the Club World Cup".
He added, "I did not hesitate to wear the Al Ahly shirt, and I have great confidence in the club, its officials and its great fans, and together we will achieve many titles".
He concluded, "Al Ahly means history, it is the past, present and future, and my goal is for us to always be on the podiums".

Croatian reports mentioned that the deal reached 3 million euros as a base value, with the possibility of rising to 4 million euros through incentives.
This comes alongside the Croatian club receiving 10% of any future resale value.
Bekkar became Al Ahly's fourth signing this summer after Ali Mahmoud and Aktai Abdullah, the Enppi duo, and Moroccan Sofiane Benjdida coming from Maghreb Fez.
The Algerian striker participated in 42 matches during the past season, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists.
