The Brazilian national team defeated its host, India, by four goals to nil in a friendly match played between the two teams this Saturday evening, as part of their preparations for the upcoming phase.

The match, held at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, India, and attended by a large crowd, was of good quality, with Brazil dominating most of the proceedings.

Brazil's head coach Carlo Ancelotti started the match with a lineup consisting of Pedro Morisco, Douglas Santos, Arthur Dias, Marquinhos, Matheusinho, Danilo Santos, Andre Santos, Gabriel Pontimbo, Vinicius Junior, Pedro, and Estevao.

Brazil, ranked fifth in the world, took the lead in the 27th minute through a powerful shot from outside the penalty area by Estevao, which deflected off the Indian goalkeeper's hand and went into the net.

In the 41st minute, Pedro broke through one-on-one against the goal of India, ranked 138th in the world, following a pass from Estevao. The Flamengo striker hit a powerful shot that again deflected off the goalkeeper's hand before rolling into the net.

After several substitutions made by both teams during halftime, substitute Samuel Lino scored Brazil's third goal in the 57th minute, before returning to score the fourth goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

It is worth noting that Brazil played two friendly matches against Australia during their current training camp, drawing the first 1-1 and winning the second 4-2.
