Tournaments learned that the Licensing Committee of the Egyptian Football Association will begin reviewing and auditing the documents submitted by the eight clubs to verify that they meet all the required legal and financial standards.
The committee is scheduled to make the final decision on the names of the clubs eligible to obtain the continental license and send it to the African Football Confederation.
It is noted that the list of clubs that received the notification is Zamalek, Pyramids, Al Ahly, Ceramica Cleopatra, Al Masry, Smouha, and Enppi, as the holders of the top seven positions in the Premier League standings in the concluded season, along with ZED, runners-up of the Egypt Cup.
