Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki, Al-Ahly's winger, expressed his great happiness with the 2-0 victory over ZED FC in the Egyptian Premier League.
The match between Al-Ahly and ZED FC took place at Cairo International Stadium as part of the second round of the 2026/2027 Egyptian Premier League season.
Al-Ahly took the lead in the 21st minute through Ashraf Bencharki, giving the Red Devils a precious advantage over ZED FC in a match filled with consecutive attacking attempts.

Al-Ahly secured their second league victory, remaining atop the standings alongside Pyramids, Al-Masry, and Tala'ea El Gaish, while ZED remains without a win after drawing 0-0 with Wadi Degla before losing to Al-Ahly.

Ashraf Bencharki said during post-match interviews on "ON Sport" channel: "Praise be to God for achieving our second consecutive victory in the league tournament."
The Al-Ahly winger added: "The victory over ZED FC was the result of the entire team's effort."
He noted during his statements: "Winning the Man of the Match award in the Al-Ahly vs. ZED game is credited to all the players."
He continued: "I thank Al-Ahly fans for their support, and I say congratulations on winning the match, and we promise them much more."
The Moroccan star concluded by saying: "God willing, we will achieve victory in the third league round, and our ambitions are strong this season."
Ashraf Bencharki, Al-Ahly's winger, won the Man of the Match award in the game against ZED FC during their Egyptian Premier League encounter.
The left winger had previously won the Man of the Match award for the second consecutive time, having received it in the first league round following Al-Ahly's 3-2 victory over Sharqia Enppi.
