French international star Kylian Mbappé, a player for Real Madrid's first football team, is preparing to achieve two record-breaking feats during the new 2026/2027 season.
Mbappé is gearing up to play his first official match with Real Madrid against Espanyol, as part of the second round of the Spanish La Liga competition.
Real Madrid enters its new season with extremely high ambitions, hoping to secure its first trophy in two seasons under the leadership of José Mourinho.
The Spanish club has endured two consecutive goalless seasons, lacking the dominance and character it always possessed in decisive matches, especially in El Clásico encounters against Barcelona.

Real Madrid is scheduled to visit Espanyol tonight, Saturday, at 10:30 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
Kylian Mbappé enters this season having scored 84 goals in 103 matches wearing the Real Madrid jersey, and he aims to net his 100th goal for Los Merengues across all competitions.
The second record Mbappé seeks to achieve is winning the La Liga top scorer award, the "Pichichi," for the third time, having claimed it in his first two seasons in the Spanish league.
Mbappé scored 31 goals in La Liga during the 2024/2025 season before adding another 25 goals last season.
If Mbappé wins the league's top scorer award for the third consecutive time, he will equal the records of Di Stéfano and Hugo Sánchez.
No player in Real Madrid's history has won the "Pichichi" award three times in a row except Di Stéfano, who won it four times between 1955/56 and 1958/59, and Hugo Sánchez, who won it three times between 1985/86 and 1987/88.
