The Uruguayan Ronald Araujo, player of the Spanish club Barcelona, is close to completing his transfer to the ranks of the English club Liverpool, during the current summer transfer window.
It is expected that the deal for the Uruguayan defender will be completed on loan for one season, with the option of a permanent purchase in the next summer mercato.
Araujo, who is 27 years old, has participated in more than 200 matches with Barcelona, and contributed to their winning the Spanish League title three times in the past four seasons.
Before Ronald Araujo's name became associated with talk about the two clubs, a group of players preceded him who had the experience of wearing the jerseys of the two teams at different stages of their careers.
