Basketball – Ismail Ahmed enters Guinness Book as the oldest player to achieve a "triple double"

Egyptian basketball legend Ismail Ahmed, player of the Lebanese Riyadi team, entered the Guinness Book of Records.

Ismail Ahmed became the oldest player in basketball history to achieve a "triple double" in a single game.

That was at the age of 49 years and 243 days.

A "triple double" is achieving 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists or more in a single game.

Ismail Ahmed is considered one of the stars of the Egyptian national basketball team throughout history and has been active in the Lebanese league for many years.

Ismail Ahmed also played with Al-Ittihad Alexandria club in Egypt for several years and returned again to the Lebanese league.
