Al-Ahly's senior women's basketball team defeated Al-Jazira 90-67 in the match that brought both teams together, as part of the Arab Women's Club Championship held in Alexandria.
Al-Ahly ended the first quarter in their favor, leading 20-19, before continuing their dominance in the second quarter, which concluded with Al-Ahly ahead 48-24.
In the third quarter, Al-Ahly's players continued to shine, widening the gap to end the quarter at 74-46.
Al-Ahly maintained their advantage in the fourth quarter, securing the match with a final score of 90-67, achieving their third consecutive victory in the Arab Women's Club Championship.
Al-Ahly's women's basketball team had previously won their two earlier matches, defeating UAE's Sharjah 98-86 in the first game, and then beating Kuwait's Al-Fatah 86-75 in the second.
Additionally, Sporting, the tournament host, defeated Kuwait's Al-Qareen 88-65, securing their third victory in the championship.
The tournament features six teams: Al-Ahly, Al-Jazira, and Sporting from Egypt; Sharjah from the UAE; and Al-Qareen and Al-Fatah from Kuwait.
