Paris Saint-Germain Club is considered the most prominent candidate to sign Torres this summer, and it was reported that the French team will present an official offer to sign the Spanish international.
The newspaper "Sport" reported that negotiations between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain regarding Ferran Torres will begin this week, as the player announced his intention to leave the Blaugrana ranks, and he has agreed with the French team on a contract for four seasons.
It added that Paris Saint-Germain will try to reduce the price of Ferran Torres, given that less than a year remains on his contract with Barcelona, while the Spanish team will demand an amount of 65 million euros in exchange for selling the player, and the Blaugrana do not want to sell Torres before signing another striker.
It explained that Barcelona is well aware that negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain may be complicated, due to Torres' agreement with the French team, while the Blaugrana will seek to get the maximum financial benefit from the player, whose departure the Spanish club considers a loss.

It continued that Barcelona believes that the amount that must be paid for Torres must align with the prices of players during the current summer transfer window, and given that the player is also a striker and his value has risen after scoring the winning goal for the Spanish national team in the World Cup.
Sport continued, saying that Paris Saint-Germain rules out paying what Barcelona wants in exchange for selling Ferran Torres, but the French team knows well that it will present an attractive offer to start negotiations without any problems, as both Deco, the sporting director of the Blaugrana, and Luis Campos, the sporting director of Paris, have a wonderful relationship, which may hasten the completion of the deal and make it official within days.
The newspaper continued that Paris Saint-Germain may pay 55 million euros to sign Torres, which is the latter's market value, while Barcelona realizes that this amount is logical and fair for all parties, as the Catalan team paid the same amount to Manchester City when signing Torres in 2022, which will make the Spanish club benefit economically from selling the player.
As Sport mentioned, selling Torres will provide space in the salaries of Barcelona players, and also help in signing new players to the Blaugrana ranks.
Torres hopes to complete his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain before his return to Barcelona training on August 13, as the player wants to reach an agreement between the Blaugrana and the French capital club, and travel to France to complete the medical examinations and be officially presented to the media.
The newspaper concluded by saying that Barcelona is facing a race against time, which is signing a striker or strikers to strengthen the team's ranks, in light of the approaching departure of Torres, as well as Robert Lewandowski who left for Chicago Fire.
