Reports have revealed that FC Barcelona has signed a new deal to strengthen the first football team for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

So far, Barcelona has signed Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Jesse Bessiu, Rodri, and João Cancelo to bolster the squad in preparation for the new season.

The Catalan club aims to strengthen and develop the team this season while planning for future seasons, enabling them to continue competing fiercely both domestically and in continental competitions.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a trusted source for transfer news, stated that Barcelona has signed all the paperwork for the deal to acquire Dominik Livaković, the goalkeeper for Turkish club Fenerbahçe.

He reported that Fenerbahçe will receive €2 million, plus an additional €2 million in potential add-ons.

He noted that the Catalan club plans for Livaković to become Barcelona’s backup goalkeeper starting in June 2027, when Szczesny departs, provided the club can secure a suitable loan move for him in the meantime.
