Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, along with several other reports, mentioned that Bardghji's injury is an anterior cruciate ligament tear, representing a major shock to the Catalan team.

Romano confirmed that Bardghji will be sidelined for a period ranging between six to seven months, which has disrupted his departure on loan or permanently with a future sale option, to gain regular playing time.
On the other hand, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Bardghji suffered the same injury in the same knee two years ago while with FC Copenhagen, and was sidelined for up to a year.
If Bardghji's absence for this entire period is confirmed, he will remain with Barcelona until he recovers, pending the official Barcelona statement regarding the player's injury.
