The meeting was also attended by Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, who in turn stressed the centrality of the role played by the media platforms affiliated with the clubs, affirming their direct national and professional responsibility in shaping public awareness, elevating the sublime values of sports, and actively contributing to the success of the new sports season.

During the discussions, the attendees stressed the need for Al Ahly and Zamalek channels to take the initiative, by leading a new path to elevate sports media to more professional and disciplined levels, while emphasizing the importance of moving to a professional stage in which the two channels focus on highlighting achievements and future plans to develop their various sectors, and completely avoiding media disputes or slipping into on-air arguments and exchanges.

The attendees agreed on the necessity of prohibiting the transfer of "social media" battles to the screens, and not following the "trend", while elevating the enlightening and sporting role of television and radio programs, and preventing their transformation into platforms for responding or being dragged behind the squabbles and rumors raised on social media sites.

The attendees also affirmed the necessity of activating the principle of self-regulation within the two channels to deal immediately with any errors or violations, and ensuring full commitment to the approved ethical and professional controls.

The committee urged all workers in the two channels to deal with their personal accounts on social media platforms with a high degree of caution and responsibility, affirming that it is not possible to separate these accounts from the nature of their work and their media characteristics in front of the public.
