The newspaper "AS" revealed today the developments related to the future of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior and the latter's stance on a potential move to Arsenal's ranks during the upcoming period or not.
It was reported that Arsenal Club is ready to sign Vinicius Junior during the current summer transfer window, and Liverpool's name has also been linked with signing the 26-year-old player.
Speculation is growing about Vinicius leaving Real Madrid, as the player's contract with the Merengues ends at the conclusion of next season, with no renewal having taken place yet.
AS confirmed that Vinicius does not wish to leave Real Madrid's ranks, as the Brazilian international prioritizes renewing his contract with the Spanish club in the coming period.
It added that negotiations regarding Vinicius's contract renewal with Real Madrid will resume next week, immediately upon the player's return from his summer vacation, as the left winger wants to know his role with the Merengues in the club's new project under the leadership of Jose Mourinho and whether he will receive adequate appreciation in his salary under the new contract.

Mourinho rejects Vinicius's departure, as the newspaper clarified that the Portuguese coach dreams of an attacking trio consisting of Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, and Yan Diomande, with Jude Bellingham behind them.
It continued that Vinicius was set to renew his contract with Real Madrid last year after the Club World Cup, before negotiations halted without justification, despite the player lowering his financial demands; however, no renewal occurred amid both parties' unwillingness to make concessions.
Vinicius is requesting 20 million euros in his new contract with Real Madrid, a figure 5 million euros higher than the player's current salary estimated at around 15 million euros when last renewed in 2023, and the player's salary will reach 18 million euros in the new season with the Merengues.
The player's last contract with the Spanish club also included a clause granting him an additional 2 million euros since winning the FIFA Best Player award "The Best."
Vinicius feels he is not receiving adequate appreciation from Real Madrid due to several events in the recent period, such as Los Blancos' interest in signing Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, as well as Michael Olise, Bayern Munich's star.
Vinicius wants to renew his contract with Real Madrid despite the Spanish club's acquisition of stars in recent years such as Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe, as the Brazilian international is considered one of the key factors in the Royal team's victories in two UEFA Champions League titles in 2022 and 2024.
