Spanish Mikel Arteta, the technical director of the English Arsenal team, explained the reasons for the Gunners' signing of the Brazilian international Bruno Guimarães, the new midfielder of the Gunners.
The London club signed the 28-year-old player for 75 million euros this summer, coming from Newcastle United.

The Spanish coach continued his statements, saying: "He has great ambition to elevate us to a higher level."
Regarding signing new players: "This is what we are trying to do, and if we find the right player in the market, we look forward to doing so."
The Gunners fell to German Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup friendly this Sunday evening, 3-2, in preparation for the new season.
