Emiliano Martínez said in press statements: "After falling behind 2-0, I felt that I couldn't help anyone, and this is a feeling I don't like. I think my chance will come, I need to help them much more; they save me in many matches, and it's my turn to do that".
He added: "Leo felt guilty between the halves, but he saved us many times, and for this reason I must play better ".
He continued: "It is natural for tears to flow because you think you will return home and that you did not do enough. We do not want to disappoint anyone, and we want to represent ourselves as Argentines, although we do not have what the Europeans have, we try to be happy and exert more effort".
He concluded: "We were talking with the players that we had not experienced what we experienced in these two matches in the last World Cup, it is good to face what is coming, and if we have to suffer, we will, I think there will be a match on the way where we will not suffer much ".
