Aktai Abdullah, Al Ahly Club striker, spoke about joining the Red Team and competing in the upcoming season.
Aktai Abdullah joined Al Ahly Club during the summer transfer window, coming from Enppi Club.
Aktai Abdullah in statements via the official page: "I cannot describe my feeling upon joining Al Ahly; any football player wishes to play for this club".
He added: "When Essam Sarraj, Al Ahly's director of contracts, contacted me, I immediately informed him of my approval. I received offers from some clubs, but I preferred Al Ahly".
He continued: "My family supports Al Ahly, and they are certainly proud of me and happy with this step, and I thank them for their support and backing all the time".
He went on: "I had set joining Al Ahly as a goal for myself from the beginning. I suffered a lot until I reached this step. Al Ahly is a big club and any player wishes to join it. I know the nature of the pressure, but I must live up to the responsibility, and God willing I can make Al Ahly fans happy".
He stressed: "We must prepare to win all the titles. Playing for Al Ahly is not easy amid the pressures. There are those who say Al Ahly is full of stars, but next season will be different, and we will take the world by storm in all competitions".
He pointed out: "I want to win titles with Al Ahly, and God willing I will be an addition to the team. The choices are up to the coach. I am reassured that when I joined the national team, all the players embraced me, especially Trezeguet and El-Shennawy. God willing I will win all the titles with Al Ahly and be the league's top scorer next season".
He added: "Al Ahly fans always give us motivation and we must make positive use of this".
He concluded: "Ali Mahmoud is a big player and God willing he will be an addition, and we can shine together at Al Ahly as we did at Enppi".
