Mostafa Mohamed, the striker for French club Nantes, has come close to transferring to Turkish side Konyaspor during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Turkish Anadolu Agency reported that Konyaspor announced the departure of Slovenian player Blaž Kramer from the team, as he will be moving to Antalyaspor.
A report by the website Konyanin Sesi mentioned that Konyaspor is currently holding talks with Nantes regarding signing Mostafa Mohamed.
However, the club would not proceed with finalizing the deal before the departure of their striker Blaž Kramer.
Consequently, Kramer's departure opens the door for Konyaspor to sign Mostafa Mohamed.
Konyaspor's management decided to part ways with Kramer after he requested a two-year contract extension along with a salary increase, which the club refused. As no agreement was reached, the contract between both parties was terminated.
According to the Anadolu Agency, Kramer will bid farewell to his teammates today during the final training session before traveling to Antalya to undergo medical tests and join the new team.
Mostafa Mohamed has one season remaining on his contract with Nantes, which expires in the summer of 2027.
Nantes was relegated to the French second division during last season.
Mostafa Mohamed missed most of Nantes' preparation period after stopping training at the beginning of the season, before returning to train with the reserve team.
The Egyptian striker missed Nantes' first three matches of the season.
Nantes decided to dismiss their coach following losses in the first three matches due to poor results.
Mostafa Mohamed may join the Turkish league, following Mohamed Salah who signed with Trabzonspor.
The former Zamalek striker previously played in the Turkish league with Galatasaray.
Nantes signed Mostafa Mohamed from Galatasaray for €6.5 million.
Since joining three years ago, Mostafa Mohamed has played 136 matches for Nantes, scoring 29 goals during that period.
