Right-back Saeed Baatya, a player for Al-Fateh, is awaiting his debut with his new club Al-Ahli after passing the medical examinations, paving the way for the official announcement of the transfer.
Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh" reported that Al-Ahli's technical staff has prepared a fitness program in preparation for including the player in the squad list for the match against Al-Qadsia, scheduled for next Tuesday.
The Al-Ahli delegation is set to depart for "Dammam" next Monday for a match to be held at the "Prince Mohamed bin Fahd" stadium.
Al-Ahli's management sent an official offer to Al-Fateh's management to purchase Baatya's contract, which is supposed to expire next summer, as he will enter the free-agent period in January.
Baatya previously played for Al-Ahli's youth team before moving to Al-Ansar and then to Al-Fateh in January 2022-2023.
Baatya participated in 95 matches with Al-Fateh, managing to score one goal and provide three assists, according to the player's statistics on "Transfermarkt".
Al-Ahli secured a crushing victory last Friday evening against Al-Riyadh with a score of 5-0, restoring their winning momentum after two losses: 3-1 against Al-Kholood and 3-0 against Al-Hilal.
