Amorim said in the press conference dedicated to his introduction: "I feel great happiness and a huge responsibility for being here, I was looking for a challenge like this, I have always admired Sacchi, Capello, and Ancelotti, and I have wonderful memories of previous Milan generations, the history of this club is exceptional".

He continued, "I feel as if I am already at home, from the first conversation with the club's management, I felt that this is the right place for me in terms of values and the project, I am fully convinced of what we are seeking to build here".

He added, "The experiences I have gone through, including the mistakes I made in the past, have made me a better coach".

Regarding the team's player Luka Modric, he said: "We want Modric to continue with us, I have already spoken with him, and for me he is still a pivotal player in the team, I hope he returns to us after getting rest following the World Cup".

Regarding the signing of Gonzalo Ramos: "I am happy with the current group, and I want to get to know it fully, we are working on signing the best players to strengthen the team, Ramos is a top-class striker, and his goal in the World Cup was exceptional, he possesses all the qualities we are looking for, and fits perfectly with the team we want to build".

He continued, "The quality of football we will present will be decisive, because the Italian league is extremely difficult, we want to impose our control on matches and achieve victories, relying on players capable of deciding individual duels".

He added, "We have many goals, I will not make many promises, because actions are what will speak, there will be obstacles, but we want to be ambitious".

He concluded, "I appreciate the human side in football and personal relationships, when you build a strong relationship between the technical staff and the players, achieving results becomes much easier".
