The Italian club Napoli announced the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as the team's head coach.
Napoli revealed on its official website that Allegri will lead the team until June 2029.
Allegri played for Napoli in the 1997-1998 season.
Allegri coached Milan last season and finished the season in fifth place in the Italian league standings.
Milan announced Allegri's dismissal earlier, but the club did not reach an agreement with the Italian coach on the terms of contract termination.
