The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of an Algerian refereeing team to officiate the match between Kenya's Gor Mahia and Egypt's Pyramids FC, marking the start of the team's journey in the CAF Champions League.
Pyramids FC will visit Gor Mahia at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 6, at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, for the first leg of the Round of 64 in the CAF Champions League.
The match will be officiated by Algerian referee Mohamed Rafik, assisted by his compatriots Yacine Ben Salama as first assistant and Mohamed Hamaidi as second assistant, while Hossam Ben Yahia will serve as the fourth official.
Bejashu Asfu from Ethiopia will serve as the match commissioner, while his compatriot Lydia Obaidi will monitor the performance of the refereeing team during the game.
The return leg between Pyramids FC and Gor Mahia is scheduled to take place at 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.
