Abu Qir Fertilizers nearly equalized in the final moments, specifically in the 87th minute, with a strong header that went just over the crossbar of Sobhi Suleiman, Al-Ittihad Alexandria's goalkeeper.

In the third minute of added time, Al-Ittihad Alexandria successfully scored their second goal through Savior following a counterattack that concluded with a precise pass from John Ebouka and then a shot into the net.

Thus, Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club secured its first victory of the season in the league, after drawing in the first round against Zamalek, before suffering defeat in the second round against Ceramica Cleopatra.

With this result, Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club's points total rose to four, placing them ninth in the Egyptian Premier League standings, while Abu Qir Fertilizers remained stuck at three points, occupying 13th place.
