The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club was keen to extend thanks to the Investment Committee for its role in resolving several crises for the Whites during the past period, including the license to participate in African competitions.
Zamalek Club had announced its success in obtaining the African license, which allows the first team to participate in the upcoming edition of the African Champions League, after an absence of 3 seasons.
The official statement from Zamalek read: "The club's Board of Directors, headed by Hussein Labib, extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the club's Investment Committee, in recognition of the significant role and clear efforts it exerted during the past period, which contributed to obtaining the license to participate in African competitions for the new season".
Zamalek did not reveal the names of the Investment Committee members who contributed to resolving those crises in its statement, noting: "The names of the participants from the Investment Committee will be announced at the appropriate time".
Zamalek's Board of Directors affirmed that the Investment Committee carried out its role toward Zamalek Club with full sincerity and responsibility, and effectively contributed to overcoming many challenges, reflecting its ongoing commitment to serving the club and supporting its stability.
Zamalek concluded its official statement: "The club's Board of Directors values this role, affirming that what the committee has provided is nothing new from the club's loyal sons, who always place Zamalek's interests above any other considerations".
