A source revealed that the management of Zamalek Club has contacted the lawyer of Salah Mosadek, the former team player, regarding postponing the payment of the second installment of the player's dues with the club.

A source at Zamalek Club told Laila Koura: "We contacted Salah Mosadek's lawyer regarding postponing the payment of the value of the second installment of the player's dues".

The source added that the installment was scheduled to be paid according to the settlement agreement on the first of August, but Zamalek Club asked the player's lawyer to postpone the payment of the installment amounting to $400,000.

He concluded: "We are waiting until this moment for the player's lawyer's response, and if he refuses to postpone the payment of the installment, the amount will be transferred".

Zamalek Club had reached an agreement with its former player Salah Mosadek to settle his dues in recent months.

This comes after Mosadek obtained a ruling from the Dispute Resolution Chamber stipulating that he receive a total amount exceeding approximately $800,000 as a fine on Zamalek Club.

The Moroccan player received 50% of his dues in the past days, while it was agreed that Al-Abyad would pay the remaining amount at the beginning of August.
